Double-barrelled question
Also calledDouble-barreled question
A question that asks about two things at once, such as 'Was the app fast and easy to use?', so a single answer cannot be interpreted.
If someone answers 'no' to 'Was the app fast and easy to use?', you do not know whether it was slow, hard to use, or both. The answer looks like data but cannot tell you what to fix.
The fix is simple: one question per idea. Watch for 'and' and 'or' in survey questions.
