User flow

Also calledUX flow, Task flow

The sequence of steps someone takes to complete a task in a product, including the decisions and branches along the way.

A user flow maps a task from start to finish: every screen, choice and system response in between. Drawing it before designing screens exposes missing states, dead ends and unnecessary steps.

Flows are where most usability problems are won or lost. A beautiful screen in the wrong sequence still fails.
