Design critique
Also calledCrit, Design review
A structured session where designers review each other's work against its goals, to improve it before it ships.
A critique is not a vote on taste. The presenter states the problem and what kind of feedback they need, and the group responds to whether the design achieves its goal.
Regular critique is one of the main ways a team keeps its quality bar consistent and helps junior designers grow.
